King Technology Ventures (KTV)* is a program designed to benefit society by promoting the transformation of cutting-edge technological research into practical and marketable devices in general and the healthcare community in particular. KTV represents a substantial commitment on the part of the Foundation to support basic socially beneficial research, product prototype development, and the initial start-up requirements of the entrepreneurial business community. KTV has a 100% success rate in the incubation of biomedical device companies from concept, to initial prototype development, to company incorporation, and company independence. These companies are:
The Center for Living and Learning is a sanctuary for the mind, body, and soul; a gathering place committed to facilitating well-being of self, society, and the natural world. Housed within the historic Tudor House located in Stamford, Vermont, with the rolling foothills of the Green Mountains and Mount Greylock as our backdrop, The Tudor House is a sanctuary for the mind, body, soul, and spirit. It is the central gathering space for all of our endeavors. Situated on 9 acres of land dedicated to the promotion of regenerative well-being for individuals, society and the natural world Tudor House is home to organic gardens, a lush pasture, a large barn that houses our animal companions as well as hosted events, and visiting wildlife.
Soft Technologies are concerned with human and social factors that facilitate human flexibility, encourage human initiatives, and emphasize human needs through research and education. The UNC Foundation supports soft technologies that are dedicated to innovative research and advocacy in the realms of bio-energetics and energy medicine. The soft technology education and research programs currently sponsored by the UNC Foundation are currently grounded in regenerative well-being for the self, society, and natural world.
